The two videos listed gives a
free course about how one can master Linux. Free code camp is a YouTube channel
that provides programming and many other skills for cyber security specialist
and ethical hacking. This video in particular provides a course for learning
Linux. Network chuck also provided a course going in detail on how to
operate in Linux. So, the question might be roaming in your head of what is
Linux? Linux is operating system that provides us with hacking tools. This is
a dangerous weapon for anyone to have for the reason being its open source so
anybody can use it. For example, Nmap is a network scanner that one can download
through Linux. This allows the user to get access of a person's network and
gather information on the victim of their choosing. Linux is the most important tool in the world
of technology. The article goes into depth about the steps to work in Linux and
finding vulnerabilities to attack. It describes about the programming in Linux
and how knowing the bit system can be huge help to attack networks. What surprised me the most in the article is
how they discuss about the kernel and how powerful it is. The kernel is the
magic behind Linux it allows you to communicate with the hardware of a device. When
setting up Linux one needs to have a virtual lab the article consists of
having a virtual box and VMware to set up. The article also suggests having a good ram
and enough storage to run this set up.
Linux can change a whole person life it did to me. Learning Linux would
help a person land a job in cybersecurity. All hackers no matter the color
always used Linux. Being on Linux this week has been fun me mastering open-source software will make me a dangerous man.
